  • Cevin Soling of The Love Kills Theory explains this song: "Essentially it is about interpersonal alienation and the sense of always feeling left out regardless of whether or not that is case and the ubiquity of that state of mind in contemporary society. A lot of the love kills theory deals with showing the general state of mental health in our society and how desperate things have become. People's instinct, or indoctrination, often leads them to blame themselves into thinking they are somehow defective in their inability to cope. In fact the problem is that we are not designed for the world we've created and the neurosis, anxiety, depression, etc. that ensues is a result of that disconnect."
