  • The Marketts were an instrumental group that formed in Hollywood, California. Their song "Surfer's Stomp" went to #31 in 1962, and in 1966 they wrote the theme to the TV show Batman.

  • J from Toronto, CanadaIf memory serves me correctly, and often it doesn't, this tune was released as "Outer Limits" and had to be retitled because of legal problems. Although they had a hit with the tune, The Marketts were simply a studio group and didn't write the Batman theme, Neil Hefti did.
