Songfacts®:

  • The lead single and first track on The Menzinger's 2017 album After The Party, "Lookers" finds vocalist Greg Barnett recounting how the sight of an old photo of himself with someone made him long for the youth captured within. Like many of the tracks on After The Party, the song was completed quickly. Barnett told HMV.com:

"There's quite the feeling of accomplishment when you write the chorus of 'Lookers' during breakfast, hash out the song structure during the afternoon, and pen the verses all before going to bed. That seemed to be a constant pattern with these songs, which made for a lot of celebrating."
  • The Sean Stoute-directed music video is predominantly a live-performance clip, along with footage of the quartet in their touring van.
