Songfacts®:

  • First released in September 2013, this song brought Chicago band The Orwells national exposure when they performed it on January 15, 2014 during the Late Show with David Letterman. Letterman demanded an encore performance, but the band did not respond, as guitarist Matt O'Keefe's strings had snapped and physically he could not play. Instead the house band, along with guitarist Dominic Corso and drummer Henry Brinner, did an impromptu rendition over the credits of the show.
  • The song soundtracked a commercial for Apple's iPad Air 2 showing how the tablet helps people discover new and better ways to do the things they love.
