Songfacts®:

  • "Damn Regret," part of the debut The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus album Don't You Fake It, is about two people who love each other but are afraid to be together. The guy is reassuring her, saying it will be okay: "You will never persuade me to let you go."

TRJA frontman Ronnie Winter got married right around the time the album was released.
  • The band made the music video for this song by simply recording their performance at a stop on the Warped Tour in 2007. It was their second year on the tour, and by this time they were a big draw with lots of excited fans in the crowd.
