  • Written and recorded by Australian punk pioneers The Saints, this song was featured on the band's 1986 album, All Fools Day, which was their commercial breakthrough into the US, with the video receiving airplay on MTV. It was also the group's most successful single in the group's home country, peaking at #29 on the ARIA chart.
  • Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed the song during the Brisbane show of their 2013 Australian leg on their Wrecking Ball Tour. Impressed by the crowd's enthusiastic reactions to the tune as well as his arrangement of "High Hopes," Springsteen called up his pal, engineer Nick DiDia and booked some impromptu sessions at 301 Studios in Sydney where he laid down the two songs for his High Hopes album.

    "We had no plans to record," he told Rolling Stone. "But I found a hook to bring these songs to life and I was anxious to get to work on them."
