Songfacts®:

  • This reggae-tinged dance track is the first US single and fourteenth overall single release by the English pop girl group The Saturdays. The song was recorded at Rollover Studios in London and premiered at Avalon Hollywood's Club TigerHeat on 30 August 2012. It was released in the US on December 18, 2012.
  • The song features the Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist, Sean Paul. The Saturdays are best known for their pop tracks, but they told radio presenter Ryan Seacrest they are open to different types of music. "That's why it's fun to be pop because we can try different genres," said member Vanessa White. "We're all so different anyway and have such different tastes in music so when we do a different genre of song it feels at least natural."
  • Songwriting credits go to singer-songwriter Camille Purcell and Ollie Jacobs of London Electro Pop group Arkana. Other songs the pair have penned together include Tinchy Stryder's single, "Help Me."

Purcell went on to pen some of the biggest UK pop hits of the 2010s, including Clean Bandit's "Solo"and Mabel's "Don't Call Me Up." Among her many contributions to Little Mix' back catalogue are the #1 singles "Black Magic" and "Shout Out To My Ex."
  • The release of the single coincided with the quintet starring in a E! reality series called Chasing The Saturdays which featured the group trying to make it in America.
  • This became The Saturdays' first UK #1 after five years of trying. The band had previously scored 11 UK top 10 singles without hitting the top spot. However, Sean Paul had previously made it the top of the charts as co-singer on Blu Cantrell's #1, "Breathe."
