  • Why do Americans drink so much coffee? Alex Harvey knew!

The Boston Tea Party is one of the most important incidents in the history of the establishment of the American Republic. On December 16, 1773, Colonists in the Port of Boston dumped some 45 tons of tea in the Harbor after raiding a number of British ships. This minor act of rebellion against repressive taxation lit the fuse of the American War of Independence. This song is the story of that rebellion condensed into 4 minutes 37 seconds.

As one reviewer put it, this slightly whimsical song "is quite likely the only UK hit to mention George Washington's wooden teeth." >>>
