• This is the debut solo single released by Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno. S.L.P. are the musician's initials for his full name, Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno.
• Speaking to NME about the inspiration for the song, Pizzorno explained that he had been writing notes in his phone about the way people adopt online personas which are a "perfect projection of themselves. People put them out there, but in reality nobody is really like that."
  
  Pizzorno added: "It's a question of identity in the digital age. We flick through all these photos to choose the favourite, go out on a date and move on before it's even ended."
• The song features Little Simz, an artist Pizzorno wanted to work with for a long time. He explained: "I was having a 3 a.m. session and this track evolved. That's when I realized that it needed Little Simz to be on it, because she's incredible. I explained what the track was all about to her and she was just buzzing."
• The green-screen video was directed by artist and fashion designer Aitor Throup. He previously collaborated with Pizzorno when he filmed the clip for Kasabian's "Eez-eh." They also worked together when an extended version of Kasabian's instrumental "(Shiva)" was used as background music for one of Throup's fashion shows in January 2013.
  
  A statement reads: "The video uses his own developed complex film-making in-sync speed-warping technique which utilizes the editing principles of time-remapping in a completely new way. The result is a flowing, surreal lip-synced performance seamlessly transitioning between slow and fast motion."
• The song was inspired by a pub visit. Pizzorno explained to the BBC that as he was sitting there with his wife they observed some girls flicking through their phones, going "he's my favorite." The Kasabian guitarist thought to himself, I'm writing that down, I love that.
  
  "It just got me thinking about the real you," Pizzorno added. "What we put out to the world, especially online, is a heightened vision of yourself and the perfect version of you, but the reality is we're all sat at home panicking like hell about everything!"
