Songfacts®:

  • The Veronicas are Australian twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso. This intimate track is about Jess' break-up with her long-term boyfriend. She told The Herald Sun: "It was probably the hardest song we've ever written, because it was like, write a line, cry for 10 minutes, write another line, cry for 10 minutes."
  • Jess told The Herald Sun that she played the song to her former boyfriend first. She explained: "He wasn't talking to me at the time. I said, 'This is on the record, it's about you.' He loved it. We're friends now. That's nice. For a while I was like, 'You can hear it when the record comes out,' but then I sent it to him."
