On this song Kyle Falconer (vocals/guitar) delivers a road-bound message to his girlfriend. He commented on The View Are On Fire: "It's about splitting up with my old bird, pretty much."
Falconer played the piano, guitar and mouth-organ on this track. The origins of the song came about according to bassist Kieren Webster, "through Kyle tinkling around on the piano."
This song is a segue from "Typical Time," the closing track of The View's previous album Hats Off To The Buskers. Falconer explained on The View Are On Fire: "It was a pretty decent tune on the last album, Typical Time. A lot of people said it was too short. The second one was done on the spot and it worked perfect, just using the same melody on the harmonica but changing the chords around it."
