  • "False Alarm" could also be considered a sequel to The Weeknd's Lemonade cut with Beyoncé "6 Inch," a song with similar imagery of six-inch heels and dollar bills.
  • The violent music video documents a high-stakes bank heist filmed from the point of view of a gun-toting bank robber. The visual was directed by Ilya Naishuller, who also shot Hardcore Henry, a 2016 action movie also filmed entirely in a first person perspective.
  • (Spoiler alert) The video marks the third time The Weeknd kills himself in a music clip, following "Tell Your Friends" and "Starboy."
