Songfacts®:

  • Bass guitarist Russell Pritchard told Digital Spy about this song: "The inspiration behind Dave's lyrics is basically somebody owing someone else some money and it's the idea of karma coming back to get you. If you're not honest about things then they will often come back to you and kick you up the arse."
  • In the same interview Pritchard explained the You Can Do Anything album title: "To be honest, it was a song title as well, but the song didn't make it onto the album. We just liked it as a title. We like it when things like that happen - 'Houses Of The Holy' by Led Zeppelin doesn't appear on their album Houses of the Holy, for instance, it's on Physical Graffiti instead. Hopefully the track will come back and we'll do something with it."
