• McNevan explained the story behind the song to NewReleaseToday:
  
  "The original idea for these albums, INHALE and EXHALE, was that the albums would be released on the same day. For a year I was writing these songs on the road, and I would look at this blackboard filled with ideas. We had just had our first young child, and I had just finished building a studio, and there was a lot of life happening. I remember for the first time in my life, and you have these moments along the way, but I felt overwhelmed. I made the mistake of trying to juggle too much, and I was depleted. I unfortunately got in that place for the first time in my journey of life, and I felt anxiety and couldn't get off the ground. It got pretty bad.
  
  It was definitely a moment for my wife and I to look at life balance and readjust in order to make everything work smoothly for my sake, my family's sake and the band's sake. It was a pivotal moment. As not fun as that moment was, I wouldn't trade it as it was a learning curve and an opportunity to reach out for God and trust Him at a greater level than I had before.
  
  There was a new room in the house so to speak. God was so faithful, and we were able to readjust. It's been awesome. This song stemmed from that moment. I was at a bit of a standstill in the writing process because of how I was feeling. In prayer, I was talking to God and thinking about how to process what I was going through. As a guy, sometimes your pride gets in the way, and it wasn't something I wanted to talk about. But I know God has given us this platform, and I wanted to honestly share what I was dealing with in this song."
