Songfacts®:

  • Ice Cube, Eminem and other American rappers may talk the talk, but none of them ever walked the walk like Muzzaker Shah. Fortunately!

Shah was songwriter and vocalist with Thug Fam, one of whose recordings was "Real Killers," which includes the couplet:

    I've got to pop shots
    Drop cops on the block

A few months after recording this song, Shah murdered WPC Sharon Beshenivsky during a raid on a Bradford travel agent.

In December 2006 he was jailed for life at Newcastle Crown Court with a recommendation that he serve at least 35 years. >>>
