Songfacts®:

  • This single from The Dime Trap finds Tip comparing his love for his life and family with being addicted to drugs. The track was produced by Dr. Dre.

T.I. said to Rolling Stone of working with the Father of G-funk: "Dre's the homie, to be honest with you. I've never seen somebody so meticulous about music before."

"The only thing that I can say was a similar experience was when me and Eminem did those songs together. The way Em is about a verse, that's how Dre is about production. It's a very tedious, meticulous, nerve-wracking process. But the outcome is immeasurable. You just can't describe the difference in the magnitude of production that goes from what we're used to doing and what he's used to doing."
  • The song contains a sample of Aaliyah's 2001 hit "Rock The Boat." The late singer's voice is the first that we hear on the track.
  • The track features Marsha Ambrosius who croons the hook. The English singer-songwriter has not worked with T.I. before, but she did feature on four tracks from Dr Dre's Compton album.
  • The video finds Tip living it up in Los Angeles and rapping with the City of Angels skyline as his backdrop. Big Sean, Killer Mike, Nelly and Travis Scott all show up for cameos during the clip.
