Songfacts®:

  • Tich's second single was written by the singer with Harry Sommerdahl (The Saturdays) and of The Lonesharks (The Wanted, Lawson). "'Obsession' is about liking someone so much that the feeling becomes all-consuming," said Tich. "You hope it'll lead to something good but the initial emotion is so strong that you don't care!" The song was released on August 18, 2013.
  • This was inspired by Tich's obsession with a friend of hers. She admitted to Digital Spy: "He wasn't quite aware that I was mildly obsessed with him. How awful! I would stare at him and he wouldn't be looking - like at the profile of his face and just think how beautiful and sculpted it was."
