Songfacts®:

  • A collaboration by Tiesto with fellow producer Dzeko plus artists Post Malone and Preme, this song compares a girl kicking out at the thought of marrying and settling down to the martial art moves of Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan.

She say she's too young, don't want no man
So she gon' call her friends, now that's a plan
I just ordered sushi from Japan
Now your bitch wanna kick it, Jackie Chan
  • The song is actually a remix of Preme's original version of "Jackie Chan", which already had Post Malone on board, but not the two producers. Tiesto explained to The Independent:

"I was already friends with Post and we were together in the studio in LA. Preme had a different version of the track, which is also on his album, and when Dzeko and I heard it we thought we should make something fun out of it. Post Malone's voice is so cool, and we found this guitar riff underneath, and it gave the whole track a completely different vibe."
  • As this is a music database it give us the excuse to point out that though Jackie Chan is most famous for his acrobatic fighting style in his movies, he is also an operatically trained vocalist. Chan is well known as a singer in Asia, having released 20 studio albums and often sings the theme songs of his own movies.
