  • Maren Morris moved from her home state of Texas to Nashville in 2012 in order to further her songwriting career. Within six months she'd found herself a publisher and penned this song about a man returning to the arms of a loved one with Eric Arjes and Ryan Hurd. Tim McGraw went on to record the tune for his Sundown Heaven Town album. "It was very emotional," she recounted on CBS Sunday Morning about hearing her song through McGraw's voice for the first time. "As a songwriter, you never forget that first cut."
  • When Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd wrote this song together, they'd barely met before. However, they formed a connection, penned several other tunes together, and started dating in 2015. The couple got married in Nashville on March 24, 2018.
