Songfacts®:

  • The first single from Timbaland's Textbook Timbo album finds the producer hooking up with Jay-Z. The pair renewed their long and fruitful partnership for the release of Hova's Magna Carta Holy Grail earlier in 2013, on which Timbaland co-produced the majority of the tracks. Jay supplies the intro for this cut.
  • Drake supplies a braggadocio verse, in which he claims to be "DJ Khaled for real," whilst Roc Nation singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy sings on the outro. Fantleroy's writing credits include hits by Jordin Sparks ("No Air") and Rihanna ("Te Amo") as well as the majority of tracks on Justin Timberlake's two 20/20 Experience albums.
  • Timbaland first teased the song in Birmingham, England on his opening set for Jay Z on October 8, 2013 during the European leg of the rapper's Magna Carta Holy Grail tour.
