Songfacts®:

  • This track filled with boisterous boastings and laugh-out-loud punchlines follows on from where the Disc-Overy track "Obsession" left off. Tempah explained that he decided to fill the tune with "random retorts and different tangents he was going off on," concerning fame, life, relationships and success.
  • The song's Johnny Cash-flavoured beat was supplied by Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers, and the song's sample of Gator Creek's 1970 track "Betty Jean's Mama" was selected by the electronica musician. "The beat is very odd," Tempah told The Sun. "It's grimey and there's a Johnny Cash-esque sample too. I'm always trying to flip it. I've put some weird lyrics in there too; just things that pop into my head. I think it's great for people to get into my mind. I think people were wondering 'Who is this guy?' It's important for me to let people in a bit more."
