Songfacts®:

  • Keith penned this song with Nashville songwriter Rivers Rutherford, whose résumé includes the #1 Country song of 2001, Brooks & Dunn's "Ain't Nothing 'Bout You." The pair also collaborated on the title track of Keith's 2010 album.
  • The song title was inspired by a golf buddy of Keith's who yells the phrase out all the time. He recalled: "One day I told him, 'I'm going to write that for you.' It really didn't hit me as a hook or anything. I just wanted to write it for him and say, 'Here, you made the album.'"

"The song actually turned out cooler than the time I put into it.," he added. "I sort of had the idea and wrote it really fast. It's got some comical, catchy, tricky lyrics in it that you have to have in these kinds of songs, but the little groove on it is what stole my heart."
