Songfacts®:

  • This the third single from Tonight, the fourth solo album from TobyMac. The Christian pop–hip-hop artist donated 100% of his artist royalties from first week sales of the single to relief efforts for Haiti after the earthquake that devastated the country.
  • TobyMac explained to Christianity Today who the song addresses: "I have a friend who made some bad choices and lost his marriage, family, and essentially life as he knew it. He felt useless to God's kingdom, and I'd even go far enough to say worthless in many respects. I wanted to remind him that we all fall and he may be knocked down now but he is not out forever. On the outro (the most important part), I wanted him to hear God's voice saying, 'This is love calling, love calling out to the broken.'"

  • Kaydie from Cloquet, MnThis is one of my favorite songs, as well as my mom's. The message displayed in this song is so powerful, and really has great meaning. It is never to late to be saved, and comitt yourself to God. God is always there, waiting for you to ask for forgiveness, and for him to enter your heart. I think Toby does a great job explaining life and God's love through this song.
