This song finds Tom Morello teaming up with rappers Big Boi and Killer Mike as well as dubstep producer Bassnectar for a full-throttle political attack in which he addresses police brutality in the US. The accompanying video lists many of those who have died at the hands of the police.

"The officers guilty of those blatant murders always get off with a hand slap or a suspension with pay," Morello told Kerrang. "Relentless police violence against the African-American community is as American as apple pie and baseball. As we say in the song, 'This time around the revolution is televised' - by people's cell phones. They're able to expose to a global audience a small portion of the inhumane treatment of some police towards the African-American community. It's not going to stop until we stop it."
