Songfacts®:

  • This is a track from Wrong Crowd, an album inspired by pain and lost love. Odell told The Sun this song came about after his girlfriend at the time got friendly with another musician. The former BIMM Brighton student laughed: "I'd never felt like that before! She was hanging around with him a lot and so I wrote the song."

"I recommend songwriting to so many people, particularly if you are a jealous young man like I was," Odell added. "The song is about not letting it get the better of you. I'm really proud of that track."
