Songfacts®:

  • Toni Braxton's first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 was a collaboration between R&B hitmaker Babyface and record producer Bryce Wilson (of the '90s hip-hop duo Groove Theory). The track was released as a double-A side with "Let It Flow" from the hit Waiting to Exhale soundtrack produced by Babyface. The song also went to #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
  • After the critical and commercial success of her Grammy Award-winning debut album, Braxton knew the stakes were high for a successful follow-up. Babyface encouraged the singer to push the envelope with a provocative track that has her dreaming of going to bed with her absent lover.

"It was sexy because Toni needed to do something a little more daring," Babyface said. "She was fighting it a bit. She didn't know whether she should say those kinds of things. She didn't want to offend anybody. It was chancy, but it ended up working out."
  • The Bille Woodruff-directed music video casts Braxton and actresses Tisha Campbell-Martin, Vivica A. Fox and Erika Alexander as a group of friends looking for men to go home with. Braxton chooses the song's co-writer Bryce Wilson, and they end up in a bathtub full of cotton candy. Woodruff also directed clips for Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart" and "He Wasn't Man Enough."

  • Mckenna from UptownAnother fun fact- Toni and Bryce Wilson (co writer) was also dating around the time of her second album. Hence the reason for him being in the video.
  • Sony from Bangalore, IndiaOn the first listen, I never liked this track but now this is kinda my jam :)
