  "I think it started with a discussion about 'feeling like f---ing up' and why you get that from time to time. It seems almost second nature to most people to feel like that at one point or another and I think it's interesting. So… 'wanna make mistakes…' and then 'you make me wanna make mistakes…' That's how it came about."

  "I guess the main theme for me is, you know when life is almost too smooth sometimes? When you feel like you got yourself almost too figured out. I think it's nice sometimes to shake yourself a little bit, and surprise yourself, and just let go of that idea of who you think you are.
  
  I made it okay to f--k up sometimes, maybe all mistakes aren't mistakes, like letting go and freeing yourself. That's sort of the spirit of the song. Inviting chaos, basically. And that chaos could be a person or it could just be a situation or whatever. That's that, embracing chaos."
