Songfacts®:

  • This duet with Adkins' pal Blake Shelton appears on the Deluxe edition of Proud To Be Here. The pair previously worked together on the Country chart-topping duet "Hillbilly Bone."
  • It was co-writer Jeff Bates who came up with the idea for the song, and it quickly became clear it should be a duet with Shelton. "When Jeff started talking about a guy telling this girl all his good qualities, I said we should write it as a duet with two guys jousting about how they are the perfect man for this woman. I called Blake because he was the only person silly enough to do it," Adkins told Reuters.
  • Adkins also included this on his 2021 album The Way I Wanna Go.
