Songfacts®:

  • After landing their first big hit with "Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me)" in 2001, Train recorded the song "Fall Out" for the soundtrack of the 2002 Mel Gibson movie We Were Soldiers. The song is written from the perspective of a soldier at war.
  • Train recorded this in Studio 2 of Abbey Road. That's where many Beatles songs were recorded and all of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Musically, the song is influenced by both groups.
  • Next door to Train as they recorded this was an orchestra recording the score for Star Wars: Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones.
