Songfacts®:

  • The Cool Kids is an American Hip-Hop group comprising rappers Antoine "Sir Michael Rocks" Reed and Evan "Chuck Inglish" Ingersoll who describe themselves as "the new black version of the Beastie Boys." The duo have made a number of collaborations with other artists, including this track from Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker's first solo album, Give The Drummer Some. Barker told Musicradar.com about the cut: "We had done another track in the beginning of the recording process, but they came back and heard the joint I did with Lupe ("If You want To"), and it really impressed them. We decided to go somewhere else and do something a little crazier and harder with the verses. I'm really glad we did. Jump Down came out really cool."
