Songfacts®:

  • Travis Denning recorded this fun good-riddance song for his Beer's Better Cold EP. It finds him breaking up with a girl after putting up with her drama for far too long. Denning wickedly tells her there is someone else called Abby; the name stands for "Any Body But You."
  • Ashley Gorley, Matt Jenkins and Chase McGill wrote this kiss-off romp. Denning said the song made him laugh the first time he heard it. "I thought it was so funny and clever and quirky, and just had all these things that I loved about country music and country music songwriting," he said. "And I think a lot of people can relate to having that one person that they're just so happy is no longer part of their life."
  • Denning told Apple Music he hopes the song will make listeners smile, even if they're going through a breakup themselves. "Country music, and music as a whole, has always helped me get through times, whether it's a serious closure kind of feel or if it's, 'Hey, let's laugh it off because life's too short to take anything seriously,'" he said.
