Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Travis Scott trading stories of weed and women with Houston rapper Don Toliver. The pair linked up through a mutual friend after Scott's attention was caught by some of Toliver's music and he was one of the many artists La Flame flew to Hawaii to finish Astroworld. In the wake of Astroworld and Toliver's mixtape, Donny Womack, which was released the day before, Scott announced that he'd signed the young rapper to his Cactus Jack label.
  • We hear the Screwed Up Click MC Fat Pat on the song's interlude, which incorporates vocals from the late Houston rapper's verse on the 1998 track "25 Lighters" by DJ DMD ft. Fat Pat and Lil Keke.
  • When Canadian producer London Cyr produced this track with WondaGurl, it marked his commercial breakthrough. Cyr originally made the instrumentation in his friend's condo that he was living in at the time in Toronto. He sent his beat to WondaGurl, who took the beginning and flipped it up.
