Songfacts®:

  • Trent Harmon's debut single after winning Season 15 of American Idol, this romantic song was released on June 24, 2016.
  • Harman sings here of the lengths a man will go when he loves a girl. The American Idol champ co-wrote the song with Jimmy Robbins (Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line) and Laura Veltz (Reba McEntire, Eli Young Band). The trio penned the tune the day of their very first meeting. "I knew within five minutes — we were quoting different movies and silly things - that we were going to have fun," Harmon told The Boot. "It was so easy to write the song because we did have fun. We realized we had written a good song."
  • Harmon debuted the song at 7 a.m. ET on Fox & Friends on June 24, 2016, as part of their All-American Summer Concert Series.
  • Trent Harmon revealed on the Rolling Stone Country Facebook page that the song is based on a true story. "I came in with this almost sad story about how I actually drove hundreds of miles only to find out I'd lost my chance with her," he said. "We crafted a positive outcome because it's truly crazy what a man will do when he's in love."
