  • Trio was a German group who were actually a trio. They are most famous in America for their song "Da Da Da," which was used in a Volkswagen commercial.
  • They didn't have a bass player. They used synthesizers to create their basslines.
  • Their drummer Peter Behrens played standing up. He was one of the first to do so.
  • Guitarist Kralle Krawinkel has a curious claim to fame. In 1998 he was inducted into the Guinness Book of Records for undertaking the longest horse ride, from Seville in southern Spain to the northern German city of Hamburg.
