Songfacts®:

  • This song is about Andrea Yates, a Texas housewife who went insane and killed her five children in her own home by drowning them one by one in her bathroom. The lyrics, "Robbed by the seventh deadly sin" refer to what Yates told her psychiatrist in jail: "It was the seventh deadly sin. My children weren't righteous. They stumbled because I was evil. The way I was raising them they could never be saved. They were doomed to perish in the fires of hell." >>>

  • Mike from Denver, Coi could care less if this album was all about news stuff.i think this band freaking kicks so much @$$ that they can write whatever f--king lyrics they want. TriViuM f--king rocks!
  • Nick from Cairns, AustraliaYeh i guess the album IS basically about news events n stuff :D. Thats pretty sad that song, not as sad as the sadness will sear songfact. But I have a hunch that the song "Unrepentant" is about the story of Nazir Ahmad's murder of his three duaghters and his stepdaughter. Just a hunch...
  • Eddie from Troy, MiDamn, i guess this album was all about true facts, thats crazy. I love trivium, they are a really good band :D
