Album: False Alarm (2019)

Songfacts®:

  • The video for this joyful disco-rocker finds the band acting out some of the scenarios in the lyrics; often in surreal ways. The fast-paced clip was directed by the Namibian-German conceptual artist and designer Max Sidentopf, who was the man behind the Toto Forever installation in Africa's Namib Desert.
  • Two Door Cinema Club were helped to act out the scenes by gymnasts from a circus and a stubborn slinky. Every shot for the meticulously produced visual was planned and mapped out, right down to the multiple takes each band member had to do of jumping into a mattress.

"We had one day to shoot this video," vocalist Alex Trimble told Radio.com. "We had to shoot 86 scenes in a day, and the slinky was, I think, the only one that didn't feature any humans, and it was the only one that couldn't get it right."
