Songfacts®:

  • This tune is the title track of Ty Dolla $ign's Campaign mixtape. Speaking with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Ty revealed he made the song with Future on his tour bus during the Purple Reign tour. "He came on my bus and we did a couple of songs, actually, and this is the first one we're dropping."
  • Dolla explained the album's concept: "There are some real issues that shouldn't be issues in 2016. We all have Intsagram and Snapchat and Twitter and we all know that simple idiotic thing(s) like racism is the lamest s--t in life. For all this s--t to be still happening today, bugs me. There is no more slavery and gay people can get married. There shouldn't be any f--king racism period. We're all good. Love is Love."
