Songfacts®:

  • "Come On, Let's Go" is a semi-comedic track where Tyler, The Creator urges his girlfriend to get a move on. She's still upstairs doing her hair and makeup for their night out and Tyler is getting impatient. It took him just 20 minutes to shower, moisturize, and put on the same uniform he wore the previous day. On top of that, he's got to get gas, the LA highway gets notoriously jammed, and their boat leaves at eight.

Later in the second verse, we learn their date is to see a performance of the music he composed for Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2022 Men's collection, the first men's show after the passing of its Artistic Director Virgil Abloh.
  • Tyler, The Creator recorded "Come On, Let's Go" for I Know Nigo, a compilation album by Japanese fashion designer, producer, and hip-hop musician Nigo. The Fashion icon also recruited the likes of Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Clipse, Gunna, ASAP Ferg, Pusha T, Lil Uzi Vert, and the late Pop Smoke for the star-studded record.
  • Nigo co-executive produced the album alongside Pharrell Williams. Tyler and Williams co-wrote and co-produced "Come On, Let's Go," their fifth collaboration following the 2010 remix of N.E.R.D's "Inside of Clouds" and three Tyler tracks: "IFHY" (2013) "Keep Da O's" (2015) and "Juggernaut" (2021).
  • Tyler, The Creator directed the video, which finds the suited-up rapper waiting impatiently for his girlfriend in front of a yellow sports car. Midway through, Williams makes a fleeting cameo.
