Songfacts®:

  • In this song the newly married Usher celebrates monogamy. Usher married Tameka Foster in August 2007, with whom he had a son in November. He told Billboard magazine: "The premise of my story is, 'You truly aren't a king until you really find your queen,' and I felt like I found someone who's the foundation for my life," he says. "I married her and had a child with her, so that's going to definitely raise a lot of eyebrows, but I don't really listen to the negativity. I hear it, but at the same time this is my story and you can't tear it down if I don't let you."
  • Usher told Entertainment Weekly: "Listening to artists like Robin Thicke and John Mayer inspired this song, because it's totally that honest feeling It's about the feeling when you're in real love. It could be about my son or my wife." Usher was married and had his son in 2007.
