Songfacts®:

  • Waka had this song in his back pocket since the Flockavelli sessions, but it was given new life when Canadian rapper Drake jumped on it. Waka told Billboard magazine: "I said, 'Who do I need on the song to get some ladies into it?' Let me call Drake! I met him through the engineer, we put that track together, and that was it."
  • Lex Luger produced the song. The Virginia beatsmith was also responsible for Rick Ross' "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" and The Throne's "H.A.M." as well as Waka Flocka Flame's "Hard in da Paint."
  • After an early version without Drake leaked in early August 2011, it was remixed by the Toronto MC and released it through his official blog October's Very Own, on September 11, 2011. Drake stated: "First Lex Luger beat I ever got to rap on...feel like I got seat B60 on Southwest...everybody has gone in before me...but we made it happen!" Waka Flocka Flame then chose to master the remix and release it as the official single from his second album, Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family. It was released to iTunes on October 18, 2011, and to U.S. urban radio on November 1, 2011.
  • A bit of trivia: The world record for the most number of claps in one minute is held by a man called Kent "Toasty" French. He put his hands together 721 times in 60 seconds - here's the video.
