Songfacts®:

  • The lyrics to this song were written by Ween drummer Claude Coleman, Jr., who also sang lead on the track. He says they are not based on actual events, but that the words just seemed right for the music.

"I don't know how I came up with the lyrics 'Put the coke on my dick,' but it seemed really obvious for the music," Coleman said in his Songfacts interview.
  • Ween would go to inhospitable, isolated environments to make records. For their 1997 album The Mollusk, it was a house on the sand in New Jersey, which doesn't sound so bad, except it was during the winter. Claude Coleman, Jr. told us: "I remember singing it. They put me outside on the back deck, just to isolate it. So I'm outside on the water in the middle of winter, the wind is blowing like 30 miles an hour, it's like minus 10 degrees, and so I did it in one take and got the f--k off the deck."

The song didn't make the album, but was sometimes performed at their live shows and appeared on their 1999 release Craters of the Sac.
