  • "Us Against The World" was written by Arnthor Birgisson, Rami Yacoub and Savan Kotecha. Birgisson and Yacoub are both members of the Swedish music production company Maratone along with Max Martin. Maratone has production and writing credits for a number of artists including Britney Spears, Celine Dion and Kelly Clarkson. Kotecha is an American songwriter, who achieved a Hot 100 #1 hit with Carrie Underwood's debut single, "Inside Your Heaven." Among other song's he's written for Westlife are their UK Top 10 singles "Obvious" and "Amazing."
  • This became Westlife's first official release to miss the Top 5 since their debut back in 1999.
