"I wanted to do something different with this record," Wilkinson said of the song. "I wanted to keep it on a drum and bass tip, but work with an artist to bridge the drum and bass and hip-hop scenes in an interesting and distinctly British fashion. I'm into REAL rappers, and personally for me, the finest lyricist in the UK is Wretch. He's a rapper's rapper! His punchlines and delivery are incredible, and I'm really happy with how the record turned out!"
• Wilkinson previously worked with Wretch 32 on the rapper's 2014 single "6 Words", which he helped to produce.
