Songfacts®:

  • William Michael Morgan recorded this Greg Bates, Jon Mabe and Jimmy Ritchey penned song for his Vinyl album. He admitted to Billboard magazine it was the most difficult track for him to record.

"There was a high note in there that I couldn't hit," he explained. "I said, man, we're not gonna be able to do this song because I can't fricking hit this high note. They said, take a second. So I went outside, drank a cup of coffee. Then I came back and did the falsetto part of that song, and it's different, but it ended up working."
