Songfacts®:

  • This is the opening track from Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's first major label album, Rolling Papers. The song addresses all the people who criticize Khalifa for only rapping about money, women, drink and weed and he responds that it's hard not to spit about the things that are happening to him. Wiz told XXL magazine: "That's just straight about victory, living in the moment."
  • Wiz Khalifa opens the song by introducing the theme that runs through the Rolling Papers album:

And they say all I rap about is bitches and champagne,
You would too if every night you seen the same thing

This was the last verse that Wiz wrote for the entire album. He told Billboard: "I said, this is it! I was like, how do we end it and begin it at the same time?"
