Songfacts®:

  • Vocalist Josh Franceschi told Kerrang about this song:

"This is not too dissimilar in terms of lyrics to 'Swear,' to be honest. The middle eight is possibly the heaviest piece of music on the record ; at points doing the recording it almost flirted with a Limp Bizkit type of vibe.

At one point Max (Helyer) was playing a Daft Punk style robotic guitar part, and me and Matt (Barnes, bass) had to talk him down off the ledge and lead him away from it.

There's certain songs on the record where I feel positive that our existing fanbase will be like, 'Yeah this is what I like about You Me at Six' and this is one of those songs."
