Songfacts®:

  • This features some prominent bass guitar by Matty Barnes. Vocalist Josh Franceschi told Kerrang:

"We wanted to the bassline to be in people's faces, to be almost be offensive, and make people feel like they're being attacked."

He added: "I wanted the lyrics to match the intensity of the music, so it's kinda about where you're pursuing someone not necessarily for a confrontation, but for an answer, or an apology, perhaps. It's quite an angry song, but I think that sometimes You Me At Six are at our best when we sound pissed off."
