  • Young Nudy (birth name Quantavious Tavario Thomas) is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia of Jamaican descent. He is a cousin to fellow Atlanta-based rapper 21 Savage.
  • Young Nudy began his music career in 2015 when he featured on 21 Savage's song "Air It Out." Later that year, Nudy released the mixtape Paradise 2 East Atlanta with rapper Kourtney Money. During the rest of the decade, he released a string of mixtapes and EPs, including Slimeball (2015), Slimeball 2 (2016), Slimeball 3 (2018), and Sli'merre with Pi'erre Bourne (2019).
  • Young Nudy's music is known for its demented, hypnotic sound. He often raps about violence, drugs, and crime.
  • His first appearance on the Hot 100 came in 2019 as a featured artist on Dreamville's Grammy-nominated posse cut "Down Bad," which peaked at #64. In 2022, Young Nudy provided a spoken intro to Drake and 21 Savage's #2 hit, "Rich Flex." The following year, "Peaches & Eggplants" became Nudy's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist.
  • On February 3, 2019, a focused operation in DeKalb County, Georgia, led to the arrest of Young Nudy and 21 Savage. Nudy was charged with aggravated assault and violation of the Georgia Gang Act, while his cousin was apprehended on suspicions of residing unlawfully in the United States. On February 19, Nudy was granted $100,000 bail and was released the next day.
