Songfacts®:

  • Here, Young Thug and Lil Baby boast about all the luxurious brands they can afford to buy their women. They believe that a girl who is "bad, bad, bad" deserves the most expensive jewelry.

Double C, no Chanel, 'cause she bad, bad, bad

Both the luxury jewelry brand Cartier and fashion company Chanel have brand logos with interlocking C's. Thugger makes it clear that he's referencing Cartier, not Chanel.
  • Young Thug and Lil Baby did previously show love for Chanel on Thugger's Baby-featuring 2018 track "Chanel (Go Get It)." The pair also collaborated when Thug featured on Baby's 2017 track "Right Now."
  • The song was produced by the Atlanta beatmaker Wheezy, who frequently works with Young Thug. Their previous collaborations include "Family Don't Matter" and "Chanel (Go Get It)."
  • This was one of 12 songs Thugger sent Drake to jump on, but his busy schedule kept him from contributing to any of them. Speaking to Elliott Wilson and Brian "B-Dot" Miller for their Rap Radar podcast, Drake outlined his regret on missed out. "I was looking through my texts the other day and Young Thug sent me that 'Lil Baby' song to get on and I was so mad," he said. "That's like one of my favorite joints on the album how did I not get a verse off on that."
