Songfacts®:

  • Young Thug and Gunna recorded this track for Slime Language 2, the second compilation album by their record label, YSL Records. It features a guest appearance by Drake.
  • Drake kicks off the song with the chorus and a verse about a woman who wants him to show his commitment by buying her a luxurious car and a wedding ring. He also flaunts his wealth, including his huge Toronto mansion.

Gunna and Young Thug continue the flexing about their wealth and the luxury items they can afford during their verses. Gunna also brags about his bedroom prowess and "solid" relationships.
  • Drake has worked with both artists before. He first hooked with Young Thug on the More Life tracks "Sacrifices" and "Ice Melts," and three years later (alongside Future) for the Dark Lane Demo Tapes cut "D4L Freestyle." Drake previously worked with Gunna on his Lil Baby collaboration "Never Recover."
  • Four different producers handled the production. They are:

Frequent Young Thug collaborator, Atlanta beatmaker Wesley "Wheezy" Glass.

Swiss producer Ozan "Oz" Yildirim. He solely produced Drake's #1 hit "Toosie Slide" and co-produced tracks with Future ("Life Is Good") and Travis Scott ("Sicko Mode").

One half of the Florida production and songwriting duo The Mekanics, Michael "Foreign Teck" Hernandez. His other credits include French Montana's "Lose It" and Bryson Tiller's "Exchange."

Elyas, who previously contributed towards Drake's Dark Lane Demo Tapes track, "Losses."

Wheezy and Oz were the main producers; Foreign Teck and Elyas are listed as co-producers.
  • Young Thug, Gunna and Drake originally recorded the song for the Toronto star's Certified Lover Boy album. When the record was delayed after Drizzy lost studio time to knee surgery, he let the other two rappers include it on Slime Language 2.
